A best friend of mine, Christina, has started her initiative to be apart of the going green and saving the Earth program. I believe if only each and everyone of us were to do our little part to be more environmental conscious, it will be a healthier and safer world for us and all the generations to come. (not to mentioned, the positive influence towards our children).
Below is her most recent post (in bold):
Can anyone share what they are doing to be more green?
- I keep a set of tupperware in my car and bring it into restaurants so that if I have leftovers, I have my own.
-I bring my own grocery bags
-I recycle
-I bring my own beverage out so I don't have to buy a beverage, wasting the cup.
-I bring my own utensils (of course neither of the above is to a sit down restaurant)
-And, I just told my lawn guy not to use anymore chemicals on my lawn!
Let's come together and share our own little ways to make this mission possible!

We recycle the newspaper bag for picking up dog's waste.
Our local grocery store has designated days where we will need to bring our own grocery bags. They sell reusable grocery bags at bargain price and started charging customers for using the store plastic bags on the designated "green day". We are loving it and thought it is a brilliant idea!
